Not my photo. But it is the right one for Saturday 20th Feb. My daughter in Johanesburg phoned me hardly able to talk through the tears and hysterical laughter. Barry popped the question and she said Yes. Barry's late mother's ring which had been in safe keeping suddenly made an appearance and they found it fitted her perfectly
@beckyk365 Thanks so much BeckyJo. The ring does look lovely doesn't it. I believe it belonged to Barry's Grandmother, and then his mother. Both Barry's parents died some years ago before Nikki even met him, and he inherited this ring, so I believe it has a lot more significance to both of them than a ring purchased for the engagement.
