Rather a sad point 'n shoot shot late at night. We went out for a couple of hours this evening. Whenever we go out, Max, my biggest baby, finds my old dog walking shoes from where-ever they are, and takes them to lie with them under the writing desk which is close to the front door. (At least he doesn't chew them up any more).

Piki Dog takes one of each pair that he finds and leaves them in random places around the house. Usually he takes one shoe to the couch to sleep with until I come home. Doesn't chew them, thankfully. He only chews yarn balls. I'm sure Rocky watches and shakes his head.

That is so darn cute. Dogs are so loyal and emotionally connected. As much as I loved my cat, I'm not sure the feeling was quite as mutual.

Thanks all. Yes Max is very much a Mommy's boy. He misses me when I go out, and is always somewhere very close to me when I'm home. Usually lies in the doorway looking outward. That way he can protect me from "all the intruders", and also I can't "escape" without going past him.
