It has been an amazingly hot, dry, day considering we are still supposed to be in the middle of winter. Laundry basket emptied, and 3 loads of washing got dried on the line this morning. My mother still has oxygen tubes to her nose, but sounding positive, so I'm feeling good. A hot wind suddenly came up from North West (opposite to normal) so had to stop and try and shoot the dust blowing over the ploughed fields on my way home from the hospital
@777margo Yes, we sure do need some rain. When the wind changes direction, it normally means some rain, but this time all we got was a couple of mm - barely enough to settle the dust
@narayani Thanks Narayani. Such an ordinary scene I'm sure people passing by on the road wondered why I was stopped and out there with a camera. But when I saw that dust I knew I had to find the first safe place to pull over! My mother is on a roller coaster and I just don't know what to expect from one day to the next ...
@bf2016@beckyk365 Thanks Barbie & Becky Yes it is very, very dry here now. This time last year there were flowers everywhere, but now I'm just seeing a few pockets of flowers
