Another hot summery day today, with a 67% chance of rain tomorrow, so my photobuddy, Karen, invited me to go to the little town of Darling with her as she had heard the wildflowers were good there. Her information source clearly didn't have high expectations, as I found the wildflowers to be somewhat underwhelming, but it was a pleasant day out and I found ostriches and camels to photograph instead!

At least I don't have to travel far to find one @narayani Yes it was fun - felt guilty about the chores awaiting me, but sometimes one needs to just leave them all behind and enjoy the day @bf2016 Yes I was actually quite happy that the ostriches were in a field opposite where my friend stopped for flowers.
