It's pretty noisy at Gail's office due to building alterations and renovations happening right next door. The office is right opposite the slipway, and next to the timeshare, so prime tourist area and they are creating a beer and gin brewery with a large deck overlooking the marina and slipway. They turned off the power to the office this afternoon, so I went outdoors with my camera and took a few shots of the guys building the deck.
@narayani haha. Yes I guess there must be. Unfortunately I'm not the one who has it! Actually I think the micro brewery there will be a good thing for bringing money into our town. There is actually very little here for young folk other than fishing, so there are a lot of retired folk here at the moment. When there is no fish, all the businesses suffer as the wives have no money to spend at the hairdresser, buying groceries etc. Having this here will bring the tourism and day trippers from the cities like Cape Town, I would imagine, and thus bring money into our town.
@bf2016 Thanks so much Barbara. Now there's a great idea! I have been wondering lately how I can make my photography more meaningful than a bunch of photos on my hard drive!
