The Wedding

Although, it's obviously not "THE WEDDING" as in the Royal Wedding, for me it was still "The Wedding" - my first ever wedding shoot, and the first time I have earned any money from photography! It was a lovely wedding and a great day. I am now totally exhausted. It all happened on board the yacht Sandpiper which was interesting and challenging. Space very cramped, and the contrasts in lighting in an ever moving environment were also quite a challenge so my exposure wasn't always great. But hey - that's what I've got Lightroom for isn't it!

well done! what a weight off your mind it will be to have done your first wedding so successfully - I know you will never get blasé, but this is an enormous hurdle you've just got over. you know you can produce good results in a tricky space and with difficult light conditions - pre-shoot preps, the shoot and post-processing, will surely all become much more streamlined as the number of commissions increases.
