Today was the official opening of the sailing season, starting with tables groaning with cakes and savouries prepared by the members and placed on the table to share with coffee/tea. Then a presentation and address by the Commodore, followed by a minute's silence at the Wall of Remembrance, and then the raising of the flags, and finally the Commodore and President waiting on the Holding Jetty for a "Sail Past". What a fun day. Thankfully we had lovely Spring weather for all the outdoor activities.
