I still possess my very first mobile phone from almost 30 years ago in glorious blue, heavy as a brick, huge and with an all important aerial. It looks so ancient now but was a sign of the changing times. Behind is my very up-to-date portable tablet sporting an image of an old "vintage" dial-up phone in comparison. It makes me laugh that we still keep one of those phones tucked away in case of power cuts when modern devices can't be charged. It's 100% reliable and has been borrowed by many friends over the years in emergencys.
I still have my first Nokia and I really miss my Bakelite green dial phone from my childhood still. The ring was so cool and I loved the sound of the dial running back.
