Nerines

I never get tired of looking at my nerines and they're giving quite a display this year. The grassed area behind them is where the pond used to be and where toady lives.

I just love nerines. To me they just speak of our old house in Aberdeen when the kids were little. I'm not saying those days were better, but I did love them.

@jamibann The nerines have a sentimental value to me as I inherited the first clump from my nan many years ago. Since then they have moved house with me twice and multiplied tenfold. They're actually quite hardy and never fail to dazzle me in the autumn.
