These are some flowers I saw while my family and I took a walk this afternoon. I'm surprised that there's still flowers out in winter. I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of 2011! I think the purple flowers might be pansies, but I'm not sure. If anyone could tell me what kind of flowers these are, that would be greatly appreciated.
They are both Pansies. It's true- so crazy to see flowers- especially Spring flowers like Pansies in the Winter! You're getting some nice shots with your new camera Sam!
Beautiful shot and pansies. I have pansies blooming in my homemade greenhouse (plastic over a raised garden bed). I don't think pansies would do as well outside here, since I live farther north than you do.
