Leap Pad Map 8.17.12

This is the map that got me really interested into geography and map-making. It came in a book that came with this electronic toy called the Leap Pad, in which you use a pen to interact with what's on the pages. I received this as a gift from my uncle and aunt. I also wrote about this in a college essay as a significant experience. I'm also using this as a selfless selfie. I'm fascinated by shapes with colors, and someday I want to make maps like this one myself. In fact, I made lots of U.S. and world maps when I was in elementary school! Plus, I won the school geography bee twice in middle school. I'm also fascinated with angles and perspective. The only thing really interesting today that happened to me was that Mom and I mowed the lawn.
Cool perspective and colors. I suggest you visit somewhere that has a collection of maps. One of the nearby universities has a large collection of maps. It is surprising because the university is only moderately sized. I also suggest that you look at historical maps and at maps drawn from a different perspective. Yes, maps can be fascinating!

Oh and I also found out my school schedule today. BTW I received this as a gift on Thanksgiving 2001 (if I remember correctly)

@sfeldphotos University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. They have a map room in the library. It is stocked full of maps. I never saw a lot of people looking at the maps. Out of curiosity, I looked at several of the maps when I was supposed to be doing some research.

@sfeldphotos How does your school schedule look. Do you have some college prep classes? When does your school start? School starts here on the 23rd, which is later than many of the surrounding communities. School has to wait to start until after the state fair ends, because so many students and teachers work and exhibit at the fair.

@sfeldphotos Sounds like a good schedule, but I would have had to study to have made it through those classes. I had Honors English IV, but not the advanced geography/world history class.
