Dry stone wall

We live in an area that the main field divisions are dry stone walls. This often presents interesting patterns on the landscape.

Love this!! The layers of interesting things to look at!! The sky, the walls and fields, the sheep and then the fence and foreground!! The walls look like huge ribbons that are flowing in the wind!! Really great patterns!! FAV!

I've lived in and around the Peak National Park all my life, and still never fail to be astounded at the craftsmanship and shear time it takes to properly construct just a few feet of limestone dry stone walling.
