Clapper bridge

This is not the best of examples of this kind of bridge because it has had concrete slabs put over the top of the stone slabs and a hand rail put up. They are one of the oldest types of bridges and were usually erected beside fords.

Nice clear picture, particularly like the greenery and also the reflection of the very bent tree in the water! Think you would have to duck at that point on this unusual bridge!
