Butterfly

I don't know the name of this butterfly and it certainly isn't the prettiest butterfly, but it sat still for me :) I have often seen these flying around and normally when they settle they have had there wings closed but this one was sunning it's self this morning.

He's a sweet one. Looks similar to our Eastern Tailed Blue though with more spots. You don't usually catch them with their wings spread so nicely. Nice shot.

Snap. I got a photo of this butterfly at Soudley Ponds the other day! I only spotted it because it was fluttering as it was so well camouflaged in the woods. I had to look it up and it's a Ringlet I think. Well spotted.
