Gamblesby Church

Came across this lovely little church in the village of Gamblesby when having a ride out.
What a wonderful find

Lovely church Shirley.
Rhoda and I have driven all over the UK tracing our family history and in the process have visited some of the most delightful old parish churches. I am not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination but I find it very sad that some of them are now being abandoned and sold off..
The one that has always stuck in our mind was in Warleggan in Cornwall. See http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2014-04-01 and http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2014-03-31

@shepherdman @terryliv @hermann @memoriesbydawn @flowerfairyann @elisasaeter @deborah63 Thank you all for you kind comments. Terry I have looked at your pictures of Warleggan church and I agree it is a lovely little church. I thought this one was a little different with being built in sandstone
