The birds have been busy eating the elderberries but I noticed these few along side the rosehips with I thought looked good together. Looks better on black.

All thanks to your lovely comments and FAV's. @maggiemae neither of the berries are poisonous. The elderberry (purple ones) can be used to make jam, jelly, drinks and wine and I have been known to eat them right off the bush. The rosehips make rose hip syrup, which is supposed to be very high in vitamin C. Years ago children would gather rosehips and take them into primary schools where they were then collected by the rosehip syrup company and taken away to be commercially made into rosehip syrup. The children who collected the most by weight were given a tin button badge to wear with a picture of rosehips and the year on it.
