Raging rivers

Horrid day today, It was even too wet to get out of the car, so this was snapped through the open window and as you can see I still got raindrops on the lens. This is where the river Lyvennet meats Cosby beck. If you have been following my project you will have seen a picture in the past looking up the little beck or the right, past the building, (here's the link if anybody would like to look, http://365project.org/shirleybankfarm/365/2015-05-14 Which is actually the old school converted into a holiday let.

Sorry I'm behind with posting but my computer was playing silly and would not let me upload pictures!
Wow, hope the house doesn't get flooded. Looks pretty close to me.

Oh my goodness, the water really is raging and it's so close to the building; great shot! I tried to look at the link you provided but it say "having trouble finding that page".

Gosh, you have had a lot of rain! It's been pretty wet around here but I've not seen any sights like this locally (yet!).

That's not looking good. Hope it didn't rise any further to flood properties. Keep safe.

Serious looking flood water.

Thought the water looked high already, but after viewing the previous shot you can really see it! Hope the rain holds off a bit and the waters can subside

@onewing @kimdavis @happypat @roachling @flowerfairyann @dizzyd @hermann @tonydebont @rachb @lavenderhouse Thank you all for your comments. Also thank you all for your concern about flooding, we live well up a hill from this house so will be safe from the water. Although it looks to be close to the house my husband has never known this property to flood. This river comes up very quickly but the water seems to get away very quickly also.
