This was the view from my bedroom window as the moon set and the sun rose. It was quite frosty. This is straight out of camera, with nothing at all done to it. If you think it could be improved please let me know as I still have a lot to learn :) I think it looks better on black if you have time to look.
Good composition needs very little work - and this is sure good. It is so neat to see the moon setting when I start to walk in the morning and the sun is beginning to rise you captured it nicely. The line of houses at the base are a nice start for those wonderful hills which show up so well.
Really, really beautiful and what a view to wake up to!!! Love the colors, rolling hills and straight lines of the homes. The moon is always my favorite. I very seldom do anything to my photos. Nearly all of them are SOOC!! I think if you process them, you are changing what you first seen and liked!! The most I ever do is crop a photo!! This is such a beautiful view and we get to see what you get to see!! LOVE it!!! Instant FAV!
@deborah63 Thank you Debbie, I have photoshop but very rarely use it. I sometimes clone out something unsightly if I can't get the photo I want without including it. I also sometimes crop my pictures. Other than that nothing.
@tunia Thank you Tuina, I had never really thought about the houses, they are just there and that's it, but now I see what you mean, it would have been a bit bland without them
@cashew Thank you Kathy, I agree with a photograph catching what you see not what you want to see. It is very rarely I alter my pictures beyond cropping or cloning out something unsightly that I can't get a picture without including it. Ii have very occasionally tried to brighten a shot I have underexposed, whether successfully or not I don't know but I've been happy with them.
@flowerfairyann Thank you Ann, I think I have come to the conclusion to carry on doing what I am. Take the picture as it is and do very little to it :)
