Snapshots of Cuba

These are a few of the snaps I took when we went on a horse and trap ride to the market. The top left there are actually some people gathering a crop and in the bottom right you can see them carting it away on the horse and traps. The centre right shows a young girl sat using her phone. These seats were made out of rope and were hung from trees in the shade on an open green area in the town. Top right is one of the many old cars which are out on the roads. The Cubans are very proud of their old American cars. Although the boy work is original the engines could be anything, usually more modern to get more miles per gallon.

It looks a very relaxing place to be with everything at a slower pace. Lovely collage of scenes from Cuba.

@gijsje @365projectlinda @brillomick @thresheg @gaylewood @flowerfairyann @maggiemae Thank you all for taking the time to comment on my project. The pace of life seems so much more relaxed in Cuba, nobody seems to be in a hurry. I think it must be all the sunshine they get.

Brilliant insight to that country. Great to see it before it is swamped by tourists.

@gilbertwood @tonydebont Thank you both for your comments. Tony, the Cuban people fear that the agreement with America will change the country.
