These are about the only tulips that have survived for a number of years in my garden. I keep planting bulbs and for a couple of years I have tulips,but each year they get fewer and fewer. I don't know if the bulbs rot because our soil is quite wet or something eats the bulbs. However this little bunch comes back year after year.
They must be pretty hardy. Whereas daffodils seem to get stronger, tulips don't seem to last many seasons. I had some red ones that kept coming back though - perhaps it's all in the colour. Super pov looking down into them like this Shirley.
