As I drove over the little bridge leading to home I noticed two of the village girls in the river cooling their horses down. The horses were enjoying their paddle.

The weather has been really lovely these last few days, I just hope that this isn't all we are going to get for summer. Although the weather was quite warm the water was still very cold and the girl on the brown horse, which incidentally is 26 years old, had bare feet and could not feel them because they had gone numb with the cold :)
