Mother duck

I saw some little ducklings swimming on the river so I stopped and went onto the bridge. As soon as the mother duck saw me she started to quack and all of a sudden from every direction swam little ducklings until she had 13 around her.

Poor mother duck was having a struggle to keep them all together. It was lovely to see how they all swam straight to her when she initially shouted for them, but after that they went everywhere again. I wouldn't like to try and control so many.
