Snowy hills

Not sure if using the two trees to frame this shot works. At the time of taking the shot I thought it looked OK but when I put it on screen I wasn't too sure. Still it's all I had so here it is.

Well the hills are good to focus on and from where you stand the trees on either side give more information!

the trees are quite dark, so metering off them makes your actual subject a bit 'faded' - if it's still snowy and you have some time why not have another go! ;-)

It is interesting to see come like the trees and others not so much. I think I tend to agree with those who think they take away from the hills, but like I say when I saw and took the shot they looked OK. I think I will take it into Photoshop and have a play.
