Yes I have spelt my title right although he is a terrier. My husband took him for a walk and play with his ball but when it was time to come home Baxter had other ideas. He just stood and looked at us through the stile and would not let us catch him. Luckily this stile is just across a very, very quiet road from our garden and the field is ours. We had to just ignore him and carry on in the garden until he decided to creep into the garden. We were luckily, quick enough to get the gate shut and trap him in the garden at that point. He is not actually our dog I have just been looking after him for the weekend for our daughter. Needless to say all other walks have been on lead all the time.
@bruni He's a big coward really, that's why he came into the garden because he could no longer see us. @onewing he is very defiant, just like a stroppy teenager Ha Ha.
