Four and Twenty Blackbirds

We were overrun by blackbirds. There were more black birds than you could possibly count. Grackles, Red-wing Black Birds, and Cow Birds. They first invaded our feeder until through persistence we shewed they away to these trees and the corn field on the far side of the trees. They stand out better when viewed on black!
Wow, that's a lot!!! Great snowy shot, too!

Great title -- brings my eyes right into the birds, which I probably would have missed!

I'm with Taffy. Glad you mentioned them in the title. They are little camouflages. Really nice composition and image Skip.

@taffy @joysfocus - They didn't show up as much as I had hoped. Viewing on black helps a little. Thought it wold make a good jigsaw puzzle.

You're right about it making quite the jigsaw puzzle! Wonder why these birds always travel in such large numbers! The sound they make when they all depart is so unusual. Like this in these tones.
