The sun had popped out just before I came over this hill whilst driving to work this morning. It's been one of those spots I've had in the back of my mind to shoot so I stopped and took a couple of shots between the shower clouds. I was lucky enough to just catch the start of a rainbow before the sun disappeared again.
Love the undulating light and the depth is amazing as is hit of rainbow : took very similar shot on Sunday difference being all land lines submerged in water !
Great lines and illumination what a picture sc photo. Totally identify with always looking for photo opportunities on way to work that's the great thing about this project.
@miley89@paul2782@barrowlane@blincodave Thanks for the kind comments. I knew this spot had potential as the hill is quite steep and the vista is clearly quite fantastic - but it's that hill which allows it to roll away into the distance, seemingly forever.
Wow! What a beautiful photo! I love the light with the distance under dark clouds and the array of colours. You only get this kind of picture in winter. Fantastic!
