Nice busy composition Kev. The only thing I want for a little is a greater DOF keep those pineapple stalks on sharp focus In the foreground. I know what you mean about keeping warm. Must be a Friday thing... I couldnt face the cold yesterday!
@tomo87 Hi Tom, This was a bit rushed, but the dof, that's interesting (if you find that stuff interesting!) Started of with just some of the seeds in focus and none of the pineapple. Did some re-arranging and stopped downe the aperture, cos I wanted some of those segmemts of the pineapple in focus. Got what I wanted in the end at f20! Even if I wanted to, I'm not sure how I would have got everything into focus (easily!). Am I missing something?
I actually like that the pineapple leaves are out of focus. It makes your eye to right to that melon...and seeds.....it seems to be the star of the show! Very nice!
@mizhayz@espyetta@blincodave Thanks all - yep it's a honeydew (had some for lunch yesterday - very nice!). I think I agree on the focus as well, MaryBeth - too much more would have made it look too snapshotty (if that's a word!)
