Growing up in Canada I believed that schoolchildren the world over used 3 ring binders and the paper designed for it. Wrong! When I lived in England I discovered that the standard there was 2 ring paper. In Spain the equivalent has 4 holes and is a bit longer. (If I mixed those up, apologies, it has been awhile.) Oh, in case you wonder, I do still buy and use lined paper for all sorts of things. I need to put pen to paper at least once a day for my mental well-being :)
