The doggie was named Queenie, and belonged to my neighbours in Spain, Lil and Arthur Danaher. Photo taken in the late '80s or early '90s in Mojacar. Arthur had been a well-known boxer in the UK in the 1930s and '40s, with a break to serve in the Irish Guards during WWII. He and Lil were good neighbours.
