The Lickey Incline

This morning my husband and I were taking a stroll on a public footpath, adjacent to the Lickey Incline to the north of Bromsgrove. During the time we were walking near by several trains passed by with a great difference in speed between those going up, or coming down (as the case of this train)

Oh well done! The cross city line (Lichfield to Bromsgrove) passes not far from our house and we use it often. I’ve tried so many times to get an action shot but haven’t managed it yet.
