sizing me up

I've noticed if I don't move, they are happy for me to be there

I find, if I don't look at them, they will often come quite close to me. If I am bending over and digging, for instance, they will happily hang out a few feet away but as soon as I turn my head they are off. It does get frustrating for a photographer. LOL
