Winter's first big snowfall of season

We have a Winter storm advisory in our part of the country for later today. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued. yes, the roads do require a bit of skill and adjustment to driving, but what really confounds me is the fact when the media plays it up as "the end of the world scenario and tells everyone to stay inside."
It's hilarious to watch the local meteorologist on TV when after the storm passes, we only usually get a couple of inches of snow ! However, when the winds blow in from across the big lake, then, driving can be treacherous, so i guess it is prudent to pay attention to the weather conditions. We have adequate snow removal equipment in our state and the snowplows are usually out in early morning hours. Let it snow, Let it snow... Let it snow.

Haha...feel I want to do a smiley face and big eyes on the bonnet...yep...panic mode these radio stations go into ..gridlock ! ..ours always tells us..as we are a small village with inclines either side..so roads soon get messy....
