For those interested in alternative forms of energy, we have a solar garden installed in 2014 on the campus of GVSU. The university entered into a partnership with our electric utility to study the efficacy of stored energy from the sun. It is said to be able to power 600 homes with electricity in our area. Our State of Michigan however, does not IMHO receive enough natural sunlight to make this feasible for our particular geography. A great pic to show alternative energy in action though.
