Thank you for joining me in my summer travels. The next day we visited Lake Powell, which is a man-made reservoir on the Colorado River. Lake Powell was built in 1963 and sits on both Arizona and Utah.
We took a boat tour and were the only ones on the boat! It was late afternoon and the light wasn't the best but the tour and the views were fantastic.
It looks fantastic, I wish I could see Grand canyon sometime in my life,for now I visit it through your fantastic shots, I love your Grand Canyon serie
One glorious area, for sure. Of all the trips, long and short, that we've taken over the years, we have never done a houseboat trip. On our bucket list. Everyone we know who has has raved about it.
@aglennc Anitia, that is funny because we are always talking about it too with some of our friends but we are all old now and each want our own bathroom....so it probably won't happen. Most of the houseboats only have one or two bathrooms and sleep 25!!
@stownsend Yep, us too, and we don't think it will happen either The two of us each need a bathroom...... forget 20 others sharing them with us. Haha!!
Another beauty! Love traveling with you. And I'm thinking maybe I should start saving some to one day see all this for myself. For now, thanks for sharing
