Hoops

I was delighted with our sunset yesterday and ran out with my camera. The view from here is not very good and I was getting frustrated with power lines, cars, roof tops and this basketball hoop. Finally I decided just to take the picture of the whole hoop and hope for the best. As it turned out I really liked the contrast of it. What do you think? Should I have taken it without?

The hoop is fine in the shot- if it was possible, I would have placed it a little more to the right (following the rule of thirds).

I think it adds to the picture and looks a lot better than the power line. we've them too and you can't always crop them out. the sky is gorgeous. fav.
