Here is another picture of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada, but without the mystic fog. The Bluenose II is in port - far left in the picture. Maybe Louise can tell us where she lives in relation to the different church spires.
Given all who now say they want to come up, Suzie, I think we ought to have a special plaque placed up at the tourist information center on Blockhouse Hill thanking us for our publicity ;-)
Of course I adore our beautiful waterfront! See the red buildings on the right...there's a church spire in a green patina behind that, and our house looks across the street at that church. (Christina asked if we're by the water... when the leaves are off the trees, we have a water view of the harbour, but it fills in in the summer.) Our little home is pretty steadily filled with summer guests, but I can stear 365ers to any of the wonderful B&B's throughout the neighborhood and still have you come by for tea (or coffee)! I think I've been put on the map this summer!
Se: a trip to the airport for John & Ashley, YES, of course we hit Costco on the way! We left L'burg at 9 & had almost 3 hours at Bayers Lake, so go everything done & picked them up within 3 min of their arrival. Not bad considering the distances! Even while in there, we were making shopping notes for when the kids leave as we'll have two more couples arriving not long after that! The summer has officially begun!
