Next it was on to Shelburne, our last stop in Nova Scotia before heading back to the US. The harbor is very long and protected and it took a long time to finally arrive at the little town of Shelburne. This street is right next to the water and makes you feel like you have just stepped back in time.
So quaint. I've always wondered what Nova Scotia looked like. Now I have had a great look at a part of it. Thanks, Suzie, for the armchair adventure. It has been very enjoyable!
I must make this a destination one day! I've heard about Shelburne, and that it was used for a movie set (The Scarlet Letter, I believe)...isn't it just wonderful! I'm going to hate to have you leave Nova Scotia on your photo travels!
How original .. i like that...would feel very welcome there.
thanks for taking pictures of it... hope one day to visit there . we are planning to go to Newfoundland next year and visit a neigbor lady who moved there. i miss her and her dog.
