We had an interesting trip from NY past New Jersey and Atlantic City at night. We felt we could see Atlantic City for hours and hours and hours - it seemed to go on forever. Then it was up the Delaware River and over to the Chesapeake Bay. We stopped for a night in the Sassafras River. This picture was taken at first light the next morning as we were on our way to Annapolis for the big Boat Show. (that is our friends on the boat behind us)
Oh my lands. This is soooooooo breathtakingly beautiful! Wow! You are in my neck of the woods ... I live about an hour and a half from Annapolis, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, near Ocean City.
Suzie, I must be behind in reading all your photo comments...when you said you sold your sailboat I thought you no longer had a boat but I guess you still do but just not a sailboat now...anyway...LOVE the sunset pic!
OK...I am wrong about the boat thing b/c the next 2 pics you posted are sailboat photos...please fill me in on what I missed...being away a whole week I know I did not see a lot of people's posts. Sorry.
Wow is the word alright. love these sunsets on the water. so happy that i live a few houses away from Lake Simcoe where i photograph the most gorgeous sunsets. i can stand there and wait for the sun to disappear and take photo after photo

I saw a sailboat transiting the Cape Cod Canal on our way home on Sunday and thought of you!
