Panning

Thanks @dkbarnett for the Get Pushed panning challenge. I've dabbled with this technique in the past but have never been particularly happy with my efforts. I had another play today and took this shot. It was full sun and with a shutter speed of 1/20 it was difficult to get much detail in the background. I plan to have another attempt tomorrow.

Thanks for doing the challenge Sue. I think you have done very well! For me if I am trying panning, I really don't want too much detail in the background because I believe that shows the movement. You have the car really sharp here along with the blurred background - so well done.
