This Magnolia Warbler was sitting on our deck, presumably recovering from a collision with a window. My husband put him in a little container where he would be sheltered but still fly away when he was ready. About an hour later, I watched him fly to a nearby tree where he was joined by his mate. According to the bird books, they're regulars in Ontario but it's the first we've noticed them here at our home.
Many thanks for dropping by and of course, thanks for your comments .... very much appreciated!
OMG... Anne .. could you get any cuter factor here.. ??? A bird in the hand.. was it worth two in the bush??? Beautiful shot lady.. and I am so glad he rejoined his mate.. you done really good lady!!!!
Aw, one time a woodpecker hit our front window and i put it in a box and drizzled a little water on its beak and set out some bird seed and after a little while it flew off, it was the greatest feeling!
