Where the Snakes Live

Well, another flower for today's pic ...... This Ground Phlox [Phlox subulata] is growing near some big rocks and a pond --- the same spot where a couple of little garter snakes hang out, basking in the sun with one eye on the frogs.

Don't God make pretty flowers???? I love wild phlox.. I have my third field that gets cuts twice each cutting season full of it .. pinks, purples, whites and yellow.. what a nice shot.. thank you for making me smile with the title...
