"Summer Wine"

I'm surprised that even with all the web sites showing Hens&Chicks/Sempervivum, it's still pretty hard to id the variety. This one might be "Summer Wine".

I was out with the grandkids this morning and actually bought another one, and thankfully it came with a name tag so there's no guessing. We had a great time wandering around the garden centre, seeing the ponds and paths in the woods so I felt I had to buy something to pay even a tiny bit for the fun we had there. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

We have some islands not too far from here called Hens and Chickens. I like these plants a lot.

They are such lovely succulents. This is a great series. Nice to see so many varieties. Who knew!
