Kala was happy to see a new stretch of back road on a recent walk. We stopped to take a closer look at the water near the road and she dashed in circles! The rings in the water are from the laps before. She's about to race through there again, making more and more rings. I wish I could bottle and sell some of her energy.
For those of you who do not read the discussion threads, you missed my good news. Nikon is going to replace my broken camera. I should have it within a week or so. Yay! I'm looking forward to getting some winter bird shots.
@sarasdadandmom large marsh, probably leading out to a lake. there are so many shallow lakes in that area, it's a pretty typical scene. the white rocks reminded us of snow and caught our eyes through the trees before we got close enough to see what they were! @cimes1 yes, winter's not too far off. having said that, we've had some shorts and t-shirt days recently --- amazing weather.
Lools like the same scene I was standing in when I took my landscape course pics (posted end of September/october in my project). Love wondering the backroads looking for things to shoot!
Nice scenery and congrats on getting your camera replaced. I recently became a Nikon girl myself. Remember we had talked about not wanting heavy cameras some time ago? Well I have. D40 DSLR. Still officially DSLR, but one if the smallest lightest models. I took today's pic with it. :-)
