600 and Counting

Yet again, I've captured an odd angle. Bluejays don't usually have a little hump in their back and I certainly haven't seen any odd shaped birds among those who visit but this one looks a little odd, as did yesterdays. I think it has to do with the fluffed up feathers.

This is the 600th pic in this album. Time sure has flown by since starting the project.

I saw a couple of blue jays this summer that had lost the feathers on their head! Maybe he did the same and they haven't all come back in yet? Or it's just a fluff issue....sure caught his colours well Anne!

Fluffy/Humpy may be a youngster who's still working out how to look grown up. His colours are still lovely!
