No sunflower seeds or birds at the Railing Café yet - just a ladybug, enjoying the view. Barry will start putting seeds out for the birds in a few weeks. We're getting summer-like weather here these days so it's hard to imagine the cold about to descend upon us.
Ladybugs are special around here. We have them in various sizes and materials. This one normally sits with a guitar playing frog on a hand made ceramic plate I got from my niece. He got to pose at the Railing Café on this day!
Wonderful and fun statue to have around.
The 'finch forecast' says that the berries are prolific up north and that we shouldn't expect as many finch types in the south this year. We'll see!
