Miami was the starting point of an escape-winter cruising adventure. We boarded the ship very early on day 1 of the cruise. Having lost the better part of two night's sleep prior, we found a warm and quiet spot on the "Serenity Deck" and actually slept for a couple of hours while waiting for the supplies and the rest of the passengers to come aboard. As the sun set we headed out to sea and caught this view of the Miami skyline from the back of the ship.
