Treats

A typical view of a white-breasted nuthatch, travelling head first down a tree trunk! It had just grabbed a snack out of a little clear plastic box'ish feeder we have stuck to a window. The feeder is not great for pics but it's handy for the birds, keeping bird seed dry and off the ground. They fly into the box, grab something, then head to a nearby tree to eat it or maybe hide it.
A real clear picture of the nuthatch

Good clarity and action. To me they sound like they need oiling when the chirp

Nice capture. You are so right about white breasted nuthatches being upside down.

I love that this is such a different "perspective," with the bird facing down rather than up. Wonderful catch.
