The Hanged Man by susale

The Hanged Man

I am going through old pics. This is processed version of something I posted way back in 2013 during my first year here.

I like the surreal feel here and this reminds me of The Hanged Man, one of the Major Arcana Tarot cards.

The Hanged Man can sometimes reflect frustration and I feel frustrated all right. Incredible things happen every day: I can see pictures someone has taken on the other side of this world just seconds ago and I can even speak with someone thousands of miles away. I mean really how amazing is that! But I can´t re-open a case file that I accidentally close, no that simply is not possible, the program doesn´t allow it -how bizarre is that in contrast to all these amazing things happening all the time around us! We have walked on the moon even and something so simple as re-opening a file cannot be done! Well luckily it´s not totally irreversible, the whole file simply needs to be created from the start but it can be done, it sucks but can be done. And I guess it´s not so serious, it´s not like I killed someone -luckily in my profession I don´t have the "opportunity" to cause anyone to die -not directly anyway. And as I always say: as long as no one dies, no mistake is totally beyond correcting.
A really wonderful composition.

Great reflection, slightly creepy. Technology and its flaws can sometimes drive one to distraction.

@eyesmile Yes indeed as they say: who doesn´t make mistakes does nothing at all :)

Really awesome shot and processing. I like how you almost can't tell where the object ends and the reflection begins.
