A blend of a long exposure and several short exposures. I forgot to turn off IS on the lens (arghh!) and so had to blend in a short exposure for the boat, which gave the birds a weird sort of double exposure look that appealed to me as a contrast to the stationary ship. Every frame had different birds flying around, and so I thought I'd add a few to sort of add to the effect. Or maybe not. But I liked it, anyway.
