Ampelmännchen

In Berlin, pedestrian signals use Ampelmännchen to signal when to cross and when to stop. And every gift shop has plenty of Ampelmännchen merchandise, of course. This wine stopper seemed like a must-have at the time.

I have a pair of earrings that I got from a thrift (charity) shop. This man is on one and the green walking man on the other. I was not familiar with the Ampelmännchen, but it was pretty obvious that they were pedestrian signals. I did a Google search and found the history of the little men. Do you think the wine stopper will make a person think twice before drinking more?🤔🤣
